Delete your account in the app
Open BabyDuo → Settings → Delete account → confirm. It takes effect immediately.
No access to the app anymore?
Email support@ammerbrothers.at from the address your account is registered with (subject "Delete account") and we will delete it for you.
What gets deleted
Everything below goes at once, in a single step, and permanently:
- the account itself, your email address, display name and password hash;
- your Google and Apple sign-in links — and we ask Apple to revoke our access at their end too;
- your sign-in, confirmation and password-reset tokens, which ends every session on every device;
- all your swipes and ratings;
- all your matches — your partner keeps their own account, but the matches you shared are gone from it;
- the names you suggested, which also removes them from your partner's deck;
- partner requests you sent or received, and the partner link itself;
- your push notification tokens;
- your purchase records — any remaining time on an ad-free pass is lost with them and cannot be restored, so use it up first if you have some left.
Nothing personal is retained. We keep nothing for tax purposes: the sale is made by Apple or Google, not by us. Short-lived technical server logs expire on their own, and aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g. how often a name was liked overall) are not linked to you.
What we cannot delete
If you bought an ad-free pass, Apple's App Store or Google Play keeps its own record of that transaction under their own policies — that record is theirs, not ours, and deleting your BabyDuo account does not reach it. Their privacy policies explain how to deal with it.
